It was an older place that wasn't as clean, but the staff was nice, and it was overall a nice community. They had outside areas to walk around in, and the location was good. The parking was OK, and the rooms were nice.
I also had a chance look at their menu and it didn't seem to offer much variety. The community seems upbeat and everything was clean. As I was leaving, some of the residents were getting ready to go on a shopping trip and they were very excited.

The tour at Emeritus at Kenner was wonderful. It had flowers, and there were people sitting and chatting outside. The people inside welcomed us, and they were ready for the appointment. We just happened to go through the dining room during the meal.
Overall, everything in the facility was okay. I like that they didn't have that many people. There were not a lot of patients there.
